Friday, February 26, 2016--Girls BB Cuts Down the Net!
Pine River. The girls varsity basketball team completed their 2015-2016 Highland Conference Championship season with a 60-19 defeat of Evart on Friday night, February 26. Tuesday night the Lady Bucks beat Lake City 44-30 at Lake City to put themselves into position for single ownership of the Highland Crown!
Pine River finished 13-1 in the conference, 16-3 overall. The Lady Bucks now enter District play Wednesday, with a 6:00 p.m. tip-off vs. Manton at McBain High School.

35-34 Pine River Advances! Final Four for the Bucks!
Down 34-32, Joe Rigling's 4-2 decision put Pine River into the D4 Final Four in team wrestling in Mt. Pleasant! Bucks wrestle tomorrow at 10:00 am for a chance to advance to the state finals!

Tucker Fansler blanked his opponent 9-0 to pick up 4 more points for the Bucks to put mush the lead to 32-22.

Raden Holmes secured a 69-12 Team Regional win for the Pine River Bucks Wednesday night. Congrats Bucks!
Andrew Park wins by Pin
To make it 39-0 Pine River, Andrew Park wins by pin in the Regional Final at home versus Charlevoix.
Andrew Frisbe Fights Back to Pin
Down 8-3 at one point, Andrew Frisbe fights back to pin his heavyweight opponent and send Pine River ahead 15-0. After a void and a pin by Tyler Signore the Bucks rolled up to a 33-0 starry on Charlevoix.

Josh Jackson pinned his Manton opponent early into the first period for a quick victory and his 100th career win as a Buck! Josh joins an elite group and his Pine River Buck family congratulate him! Great job, Josh Jackson!

Snow Fest Pep Rally Tourney Continues
The 8th grade startled the Freshmen with an upset win but had to take on the Junior Class as a result. Undaunted, a last second shot by Brock Nelson secured a second upset win in a row for the eighth grade class! Could they win now against the Senior Class representatives?
